Please join us in congratulating AYSC Head Coach Cam Ward on obtaining his Canada Soccer Children’s Diploma!
The Canada Soccer Children’s Diploma is an advanced, 12-month coaching certification program designed for coaches working with players aged 5 to 12 in a development environment, focused on the unique physical, psychological, and social needs of young players.
The coursework covered technical skill development, physical literacy, child psychology, transformational coaching, and creating fun, inclusive, game-based environments.
Cam’s completion of this diploma involved about a year of work, including in-person multi-day workshops, online learning and webinars, and mentor-supported group learning.
Thanks in part to our community sponsors, AYSC provides opportunities for coaching education for all of our coaches, with most course costs covered by the Club.
