The Aldergrove Youth Soccer Society (“Aldergrove Youth Soccer Club”, “AYSC”) adheres to all applicable federal and provincial privacy legislation. Following this legislation, any information provided to the Club by its members is held in strictest confidence and will not be used for any purpose other than that which it is intended, for purpose of registration and ensuring the safety and security of the member. Demographic information and birth date information is provided to the appropriate soccer leagues as required by BC Soccer to allow for player registration and allocation to the correct age groupings. Other information collected on the registration form is provided to coaching staff to ensure the safety of the player. Information collected about volunteers is for the sole purpose of protecting the safety of Club members.
Information collected is destroyed once the information has served its intended purpose. This includes birth certificates, pictures, coach application forms, BC Soccer risk management forms and registration forms, and includes both paper and electronic formats.
