Registration for Aldergrove Soccer’s Fall 2023/2024 season is now closed.
The Fall season starts the beginning of September after school starts. Our start date is Saturday, September 16.
The first few weeks of September provides the Club an opportunity to assess players and set balanced teams and schedules. On September 16 and September 23, AYSC’s Club coaches will be running station-based “skills and drills” with all players and volunteer Team Leaders.
Players will be assigned a team at the end of September, and a formal game schedule will be released at that time.
Ever wonder what challenges go into creating a youth sports league schedule? See How Developmental Schedules Get Created.
All players will be provided with jerseys, shorts, and socks. Games may be played with one team wearing pinnies. Some temporary player shuffling may occur in-game to promote fair play, per BC Soccer guidelines.
Uniforms will be handed out once teams are formed.
There will be no AYSC activities on the Thanksgiving weekend.
The season will break for the Christmas holidays (approximately 2nd week of December through 2nd week of January).
Photo Day is set for the morning of Sunday October 29, 2023. Watch your email for further details.
“U” means Under, i.e. U5s are players who are under 5 years of age.
To encourage full participation, AYSC strives to make all of our programs as affordable as possible. AYSC does not believe that youth sports should be treated as a profit centre. See https://www.aldergrovesoccer.com/register/financial-assistance/.
Aldergrove Youth Soccer Club’s Fall U5 to U10 Developmental Soccer program (sometimes referred to as “house”-level soccer), endorsed and approved by BC Soccer, puts an emphasis on basic soccer skills development, fitness and fun.

Aldergrove Youth Soccer Club’s Fall U11 and up Competitive Soccer program (sometimes referred to as “Divisional soccer” or “traveling teams”), endorsed and approved by BC Soccer, puts an emphasis on increasing players’ soccer skills in a competitive environment.

U11 & Up
U11 and up players will be contacted by their coaches regarding schedules as we get closer to the start of the season.
AYSC will offer optional training led by Club Coaches to those AYSC players who are looking to improve their skills. Dates, times, fees, and payment details will be communicated once the season is underway.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE REQUIRE VOLUNTEER TEAM LEADERS / ASSISTANT LEADERS. As work schedules and illness sometimes prevent volunteers from being available, we aim to have a minimum of two Team Leaders for every team, to ensure continuity of direction for the players. One of the biggest challenges we have in organizing the season is that not enough volunteers step forward early enough. WE CANNOT CREATE TEAMS OR SCHEDULES UNTIL WE HAVE VOLUNTEER TEAM LEADERS, IT IS AS SIMPLE AS THAT.
Please indicate on the form when registering if you are willing to volunteer.

The Developmental program is run on the turf fields at Aldergrove Athletic Park, 27 Ave. and 269 St. behind Betty Gilbert Middle School (view Google map). (U9/U10 Girls and U9/U10 Boys may have an away game via interlock with another local club.)
Games are played regardless of the degree of rain. However, fields are sometimes closed by the Township of Langley due to too much water on the field. In the event of snow on the field, all games will be cancelled. If the fields are deemed unplayable, the Club will email all coaches and parents as soon as the decision is known.
Your fees pay for:
Players need cleats or runners and shin guards (not provided). AYSC operates a free soccer boot exchange at Aldergrove Athletic Park (Rubbermaid bins in the large container). If you need boots, check to see if there are a pair that will fit your player. If you have used boots to exchange or donate, please put them in a Rubbermaid bin on any session day.
The Government of Canada eliminated the Children’s Fitness Tax Credit in 2017. AYSC no longer provides tax receipts; if you pay by credit card when registering online, you will receive an electronic receipt upon submission.
