Fall Soccer (U5-U18)

Fall 2026/2027 Registration

Fall 2026/2027 registration is now open.

PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BELOW CAREFULLY.

Registration Deadlines

All deadlines 5:00 PM PT.

  • U11-U18 Competitive Division 3: Friday, July 24 2026
  • U5-U10 In-House Development: Friday, September 4 2026
  • U11-U16 Recreational: Friday, September 4 2026

Players requesting U11-U18 Competitive Division 1 and 2 registering after their deadline may be waitlisted.

Other program age groups registering after the relevant deadline (or as age groups become filled) may be waitlisted.

A $75 LATE FEE will apply for all players registering after the relevant deadline.

Volunteer Coaches / Assistant Coaches Needed

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE REQUIRE VOLUNTEER COACHES / ASSISTANT COACHES. As work schedules and illness sometimes prevent volunteers from being available, we aim to have a minimum of two coaches for every team, to ensure continuity of direction for the players. One of the biggest challenges we have in organizing the season is that not enough volunteers step forward early enough. WE CANNOT CREATE TEAMS OR SCHEDULES UNTIL WE HAVE VOLUNTEER TEAM LEADERS, IT IS AS SIMPLE AS THAT.

Please see Volunteering with AYSC for information.

New – Volunteer Rebate

  • parents / guardians who step forward to volunteer as a coach or assistant coach will be offered a $50 registration fee rebate once the season starts in September
  • parents / guardians who volunteer with more than one team (age group) will receive a $50 rebate for each team they are assigned to
  • all volunteers will be expected to attend a meeting before the season starts, in late Summer (date / location TBD)

Please indicate on the form when registering if you are willing to volunteer.

Divisional Soccer (1 / 2 / 3)

Aldergrove Youth Soccer Club’s Fall U11 to U18 Competitive soccer program (sometimes referred to as “Division soccer” or “traveling teams”), endorsed and approved by BC Soccer, puts an emphasis on developing players’ soccer skills in a competitive environment, with Division 1 being the most competitive.

  • September through February
  • training on TWO weeknights, with a game on the weekend (Boys – Saturday; Girls – Sunday)
  • weekend games are played at Home and Away (within the Lower Mainland / Fraser Valley, depending on division)
Evaluations are not needed. Player placement and rostering is fluid throughout the season – players may be moved across teams / Divisions per game or for the duration of the season based on skill level / performance.
AYSC can only provide a team at any age / Division if a volunteer coach is available for that team. In the absence of having a volunteer step forward, players may be folded to a lower Division where every team will be mixed across ability as evenly as possible. If you have a player wanting to be slotted to a Competitive team, please consider volunteering ASAP!

Fall Season FAQs

The Fall season starts in September after school starts and goes to the end of February. The season will break for the Christmas holidays (approximately 2nd week of December through 2nd week of January). Our youngest players end their season at the Christmas break.

All training programs are run on the turf fields at Aldergrove Athletic Park, 27 Ave. and 269 St. behind Betty Gilbert Middle School (view Google map).

U11-U18 Competitive weekend games are played at Home and Away (within the Lower Mainland / Fraser Valley, depending on Division).

Games are played regardless of the degree of rain. However, fields are sometimes closed by the Township of Langley due to too much water on the field. In the event of snow on the field, all games will be cancelled. If the fields are deemed unplayable, the Club will email all members as soon as the decision is known.

Your fees pay for:

  • BC Soccer fees
  • insurance
  • Township of Langley field charges for all-weather and grass fields
  • referees and linespersons
  • an individual and a team photo (included with registration)
  • uniforms (jersey, shorts and socks)
  • equipment (balls, cones, and nets)
  • field maintenance
  • player clinics
  • general Club operating costs (accounting, advertising, printing etc.)

Players need cleats or runners, shin guards, and a water bottle (not provided). AYSC operates a free soccer boot exchange at Aldergrove Athletic Park (Rubbermaid bins in the large container). If you need boots, check to see if there are a pair that will fit your player. If you have used boots to exchange or donate, please put them in a Rubbermaid bin on any session day.

The Government of Canada eliminated the Children’s Fitness Tax Credit in 2017. AYSC no longer provides tax receipts; if you pay by credit card when registering online, you will receive an electronic receipt upon submission.

See Refund Policy for complete refund policy details.
