Fall 2024/2025 Optional Programs

Skill Development & Community-Building

AYSC provides a number of optional training opportunities during the Fall season for players who are looking to strengthen their soccer skills. The sessions will be run by our Club Coaches.

All AYSC programs operate at Aldergrove Athletic Park, 27 Ave. and 269 St. behind Betty Gilbert Middle School (view Google map).

U7-U14 Fall 2024/2025 Academy

AYSC’s Fall 2024/2025 Academy sessions will provide optional training for players U7-U14 registered in our Fall program.

Fee: $175 (approximately 17 sessions)

Please note that Academy fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Registration is not complete until payment is received.

  • U7/U8: Tuesdays 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm (EAST Turf)
  • U9/U10: Mondays 7:00 pm – 8:00 PM (EAST Turf)
  • U11/U12: Mondays 7:00 pm – 8:00 PM (EAST Turf)
  • U13/U14: Tuesdays 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm (EAST Turf)

Please note this is not “childminding” – players need to be focussed and willing to work hard. Each player must listen and have the ability to focus on the coaching and give their best effort every time.

Academy sessions will start the week of October 7, 2025 and will run the length of the season (end of February 2025).

Players MUST be registered in AYSC’s Fall soccer program to take part in Academy sessions.

Goalkeeper-Specific Training

AYSC will also offer goalkeeper-specific training for players interested in developing their keeper skills.

Fee: Free

  • U8-U10: Tuesdays 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm (EAST)
  • U11-U14: Mondays 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm (EAST Turf)

Goalkeeper-Specific Training sessions will start the week of October 7, 2025 and will run the length of the season (end of February 2025).

Players MUST be registered in AYSC’s Fall soccer program to take part in Goalkeeper-Specific Training sessions. Please come to the field for the initial session for more information.

Girls Skill Development Program (All Ages)

This Fall AYSC will be operating a Girls-specific skill development program on Friday evenings.

Fee: $50 (approximately 17 sessions)

free for players who are registered in AYSC’s Fall season

  • Girls (All Ages): Fridays 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm (EAST Turf)

Girls Skill Development sessions will start on Friday October 4, 2024 and will run the length of the season (end of February 2025).

AYSC is looking for female mentors / coaches for this program – please contact equipment@aldergrovesoccer.com.

Players DO NOT need to be registered in AYSC’s Fall soccer program to take part in the Girls Skill Development Program.

U11-U16 Community Drop-In Program

This Fall AYSC will be operating a community drop-in program on Friday evenings. The program is largely meant for youth who are NOT registered in AYSC’s Fall season, though players who are registered are welcome to attend. The program will focus on technical development led by a club coach followed by scrimmages.

The U11-U16 Community Drop-In Program will start on Friday October 4, 2024 and will run the length of the season (end of February 2025).

Fee: $50 (approximately 17 sessions)

free for players who are registered in AYSC’s Fall season

  • U11-U16 Community Drop-In: Fridays 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm (EAST Turf)

Players DO NOT need to be registered in AYSC’s Fall soccer program to take part in the U11-U16 Community Drop-In Program.

The registration deadline is MARCH 24, 2023 5:00 PM, NO EXTENSIONS – your payment must be received by the registration deadline or you will not be able to participate in the season. Registration is not complete until payment is received.

Payment can be made online via credit card or via e-transfer.

If you are paying by e-transfer, your e-transfer must be received WITHIN 48 HOURS OF SUBMITTING YOUR REGISTRATION – your payment must be received within 48 hours of submitting your registration or your registration will automatically be deleted, and you will need to register again if you want to participate in the season. Registration / waitlisting is not complete until payment is received.

Please do not register until you are ready to make payment.

Refund Policy / Deadline

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR ANY OF AYSC’S OPTIONAL PROGRAMS.

In the event that insufficient registrations are received to fill an age group, or any waitlisted players cannot be assigned to a team, AYSC will promptly provide refunds.
