Spring Soccer (U5-U14)

Spring 2022 Registration Now Closed

Registration for Aldergrove Soccer’s Spring 2022 season (week of March 28, 2022 through week of June 16, 2022) is now closed.

Fall registration typically opens early June. Please check our website or follow us on Facebook or Instagram for updates on AYSC programs.

Our season start date is Monday March 28, 2022.

There are no AYSC activities Easter weekend (April 16-18) or Victoria Day weekend (May 21-23).

All activities take place at Aldergrove Athletic Park (AAP), behind Betty Gilbert Middle School – view Google map.

U5 to U14 Recreational Soccer

Fitness & Fun!

Our recreational program will run on the following evenings:


  • U7/U8 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm


  • U5/U6 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm
  • U9/U10 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm


  • U11-U14 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm


Please note the posted start times and to have your player there at least 10 minutes in advance so we can use the time more efficiently.

Players will be put into “teams” so that our volunteer Team Leaders, Club Coaches, and players can all get to know each other. For the first few weeks there will be a series of stations that the teams will work through, so that all players get the same soccer experience.

U7 to U12 Competitive Soccer

Higher-Level Training

AYSC will offer a Competitive U7 to U12 stream this Spring (also known as “Rep”-level soccer), targeted at AYSC players excelling at the game and looking to compete against other local soccer clubs.

Cost for the Competitive program will be $225 (regular Spring Recreational soccer fees of $150 and an additional $75 to cover Club coaches, additional field time, referees, etc.). The additional $75 will be due before the start of the 2nd session and will be collected via etransfer.

The U7/U8 Competitive program is open to male and female players. Please email if you are interested in the Competitive stream. Players need to have the ability to focus on the coaching and be willing to give their best effort every time (and have fun!).


The U9 to U12 Competitive Soccer stream will play Saturday games against other local soccer clubs. There will be some Away games, times TBD.

Note that teams may be subject to some shuffling as the organization of the season firms up.

Coaches for the U7 to U12 Competitive will reach out to players directly with evening / times / field information.

When Do I Get My Uniform? What Do I Wear?

All players will be provided with a t-shirt in the second week of the season; games will be played with one team wearing pinnies, to facilitate in-game temporary player shuffling to promote fair play per BC Soccer guidelines. Players can wear any shorts and socks you may have.

Shin pads are mandatory. Players need cleats or runners (not provided). AYSC operates a “have some, leave some; need some, take some” used boot exchange in the large container at the field.

Please bring a water bottle.

Volunteer Team Leaders / Assistant Leaders Still Needed

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE STILL REQUIRE SEVERAL VOLUNTEER TEAM LEADERS / ASSISTANT LEADERS. As work schedules and illness sometimes prevent volunteers from being available, we aim to have a minimum of two Team Leaders for every team, to ensure continuity of direction for the players. One of the biggest challenges we have in organizing the season is that not enough volunteers step forward early enough. WE CANNOT CREATE TEAMS OR SCHEDULES UNTIL WE HAVE VOLUNTEER TEAM LEADERS, IT IS AS SIMPLE AS THAT.

Refund Requests

We realize that some of you may have registered for Spring soccer based on our TENTATIVE field assignment evenings / times, and cannot make our finalized session evenings / times. To withdraw your registration and request a refund please email WITHDRAWALS / REFUND REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN FRIDAY APRIL 1, 2022 5:00 PM. Refunds requested after this date will incur a $50 processing charge. BE SURE TO INCLUDE THE NAMES AND AGES OF YOUR REGISTERED PLAYERS OR YOUR REFUND WILL NOT BE PROCESSED. We will issue refunds as quickly as possible, but please allow up to 4 weeks for processing.
