AYSC still requires several Team Leaders / Assistant Leaders for our Developmental program. We are hoping to form teams and set game schedules immediately after the final registration deadline (Saturday, September 14 at midnight).
HOWEVER, WE CANNOT CREATE SCHEDULES UNTIL WE SET TEAMS, AND WE CANNOT SET TEAMS UNTIL WE HAVE ENOUGH TEAM LEADERS / ASSISTANT LEADERS.
Please consider stepping forward for one of the following roles:
- U5/U6 Team Leader
- U7/U8 Team Leader
- U7/U8 Assistant Leader
- U9/U10 Team Leader
Being a Team Leader / Assistant Leader does not require a lot of “coaching” skills – the main responsibilities are warming up the players with some simple drills before games, and subbing players on and off the field. AYSC’s Club coaches will provide support to all volunteer leaders as the season starts.

A reminder that on Saturday, September 14 AYSC’s Club coaches will be running “skills and drills” with all players and volunteer Team Leaders / Assistant Leaders.
Location: Aldergrove Athletic Park, 27 Ave. and 268 St. (view Google map), behind Betty Gilbert Middle School
Wear your shin pads, runners or cleats and bring a water bottle. Shin pads are mandatory for all practices and games.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the age times listed below to check in.
Saturday, September 14
- U5/U6 (2014 & 2015): 9:00 am – 10:00 am
- U7/U8 (2012 & 2013): 10:00 am – 11:00 am
- U9/U10 (2010 & 2011): 11:00 am – 12:00 noon
