AYSC’s Fall 2013 Season kick-off is Saturday, September 7. Each age group should report at the time indicated below to Brown Road Park, 51 Ave. and 240 St. (view Google map).
- U5/U6 Boys and Girls (born 2008/2009) – 10:00 am
- U7/U8 Boys and Girls (born 2006/2007) – 11:00 am
- U9/U10 Boys (born 2004/2005) – 12:00 noon
U9 Girls and U10 Girls will be contacted by their coach regarding a meeting date / time.
This first day is a chance for the coaches to meet their players, for the parents to meet the Executives and other parents on their team, for players to get their uniforms, and for the Club to go over important season information with parents / guardians.
WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF COACHES FOR SEVERAL AGE GROUPS, ESPECIALLY AT THE U5/U6 LEVEL.
Coaching at the Developmental level does not require a high degree of experience with soccer – all that’s needed is a willingness to learn and a positive attitude! AYSC supports new coaches in a variety of ways, including clinics, practice resources, and a large training DVD library. AYSC is a volunteer-run organization – WE CANNOT CREATE TEAMS OR SCHEDULES UNTIL WE HAVE COACHES, AND IF WE DO NOT HAVE ADDITIONAL PARENTS STEP FORWARD TO COACH, WE WILL BE FORCED TO CREATE LARGER TEAMS, which means less playing time for your son or daughter.
