The windup “Active Start Soccer Fest” will be held the last game day of Spring soccer, June 18 at Parkside School. Teams will play their game as per the schedule.
Team Leaders should stop by the big white Aldergrove Soccer tent BEFORE their game to pick up team packages, which will include players’ tax receipts, a certificate and a notice about other soccer programs AYSC is offering, as well as other goodies. Team Leaders should hand out this material immediately after the game — great time for photos! After packages have been handed out, come over as a team to the tent area for a slice of pizza and a juice.
This year’s festival will feature sponsors like Canon, BMO, and Kumon, to name a few — there should be lots of free stuff and giveaways.
The AYSC Executive hopes you have enjoyed the Spring soccer program. We’d like to thank all of the Team Leaders for stepping forward to help run the Spring program – without volunteers like you, the Club could not function. We would also like to thank the Aldergrove Elks for their sponsorship of this great community program again this year. We would also like to acknowledge AYSC Executives Angie Schonewille and Sue Herman for all their hard work in organizing the season, Art Bandenieks and Nat Kosovic who organized the referees, and Adam Schonewille and Reid Ellis who lined the fields and set up goals each week.
