As part of the bold vision outlined in the BC Soccer 2025-28 Strategic Plan, BC Soccer is committed to modernizing governance across British Columbia, with a strong focus on accountability, transparency, and the effective use of resources to achieve collective goals. A key part of this plan is the transformation and integration of our operational structure to create a more participant-centered system to support the needs of players, coaches, officials, and soccer organizations throughout the province.
To help guide this important work, BC Soccer seeks to evolve and strengthen the governance of soccer in BC, ensuring the sport continues to thrive in years to come.
Following the initial series of Governance Modernization Town Halls held in July 2025, BC Soccer is excited to expand the consultation process and re-engage the soccer community through a new series of Town Hall meetings. These sessions will take place across BC and are designed to provide updates, gather feedback, and continue shaping a more transparent, accountable, and participant-centered governance model.
The Langley Town Hall will take place on May 7, 2026 from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM at the Aldergrove Community Centre (Room 1), 27032 Fraser Hwy.
These Town Halls are open to all players, families, coaches, referees, administrators, and everyone passionate about the future of our game in the Province. This round of consultation will build on the open consultation completed, including one-on-one meetings with key stakeholders and partners, individual meetings with member organizations and a province-wide survey gathering valuable insights from soccer organizations across BC.
