As directed by Dr. Bonnie Henry and the BC Health Authority, additional COVID-19 health policies have been put in place that will directly affect our Club.
These policies will remain in place from November 19, 2020 at midnight until at least December 7, 2020 at midnight.
First off, there will be NO SPECTATORS ALLOWED at any events sanctioned by AYSC. This will include practices, scrimmages and inter-Club competitive play.
We kindly ask that you drop your player off at the field and leave the immediate area (e.g. wait in your car). We also request that when you return to pick up your player(s) you vacate the fields as soon as possible. We expect there to be monitoring of this policy by Township of Langley (ToL) Park Rangers, so please ensure you adhere to this policy.
Secondly, our Traveling Teams (U11 and U12’s) will only play teams WITHIN our Club – there will be no games played with other communities’ clubs. BC Soccer and viaSport are clarifying specifics about this order; we will update you should there be any changes.
The above policies are over and above our existing COVID-19 protocols and safety policies – see AYSC COVID-19 Procedures – Masks Expected.
- remember to complete AYSC’s COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire Check-In prior to EVERY session
- please continue to wear a mask and practice social distancing while dropping your child off at the field
- every player needs to see their Coach / Team Leader for hand sanitizing upon arrival and upon departure
The above policies will be strongly enforced by the Township; therefore, we thank you in advance for your utmost cooperation with these new policies. If we all abide by the rules, it will allow for our children to keep playing soccer, and will hopefully allow for more relaxed policies in the future.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email registrar@aldergrovesoccer.com.
Stay well, stay safe, stay healthy.
