Aldergrove Soccer will once again be participating in the annual Aldergrove Christmas Parade on Saturday Dec. 12, and we need Developmental players (U5-U10) to join us on our “float”, sponsored by Peninsula Wall & Ceiling!
AYSC participants will meet at the parade CHECK-IN POINT on Old Yale Road North of Fraser Hwy. off of 268th St. (across Fraser Hwy. from the Aldergrove Community Policing Office) between 5:30-5:45 pm. The parade will start at 6:00 pm at 270th St. (Aldergrove Community Police Office) and disperse at 273rd St.
A gathering area will be set up at the END of the route in the parking lot of the old Elks Hall (27309 Fraser Hwy.) for dispersing parade participants.
If your player would like to walk in the parade, please arrive at the check-in point NO LATER THAN 5:45 pm on Dec. 12. Players should wear their AYSC jersey (over a warm coat), regular runners or boots, and don’t forget the gloves and toques!
Aldergrove Business Association Parade Afterparty Dec. 12
Immediately following the parade, the Aldergrove Business Association will be coordinating a family-friendly ‘Parade Afterparty’ on Dec. 12 from 6:30-8:00 pm, in the parking lot adjacent to Extra Foods on 272nd St. (across from Home Hardware). Come out after the parade and see what’s happening on the TOL Spirit Stage! Enjoy hot dogs, popcorn and hot chocolate while taking in the entertainment – local dance and music performances with local headliner band, Her Brothers.
