If you are planning to participate in the AYSC float entry for the Aldergrove Christmas Parade this Saturday, please come to 28th and 273rd (near Shortreed Elementary School) for 5:30 pm. Our position in the parade is #9. We must be in position and ready to go for 5:45 pm. The parade starts at 6:00 pm.
The parade wind up area is near the Dairy Queen on Fraser Highway. We will transport all players back to the marshaling area after the parade for parent pick-up.
Port-a-Potties are available near the Check In Point at the school (28th and 273rd) and at 273rd and Fraser Highway. Hot chocolate is available at various points, including at the end of the parade for participants. A PDF song sheet is available from the Aldergrove Star website.
The Girl Guides will be collecting food bank donations in decorated Safeway carts along the staging route and parade route. Please support the Aldergrove Food Bank by bringing your donations. Also, please pass this request on to all members of your group and also to all family and friends who will be attending the parade to see you!
