Skill Development Opportunities

Join Aldergrove Youth Soccer Academy, where young players train weekly under the guidance of Technical Director Cam Ward! Our dynamic program emphasizes essential skills such as space creation, decision-making, and game strategies through fun, engaging activities. Optional training sessions will start the week of October 13, 2025 and will run the length of the season (end of February 2026) – approximately 16 sessions.

All AYSC programs operate at Aldergrove Athletic Park, 27 Ave. and 269 St. behind Betty Gilbert Middle School (view Google map).

Please note this is not “childminding” – players need to be focused and willing to work hard. Each player must listen and have the ability to focus on the coaching and give their best effort every time.

Refund Policy / Deadline

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR ANY OF AYSC’S OPTIONAL PROGRAMS.

In the event that insufficient registrations are received to fill an age group, AYSC will promptly provide refunds.

Fall 2025/2026 Academy – U7-U14

AYSC’s Fall 2025/2026 Academy sessions provides optional training for U9/U10 players only registered in our Fall program.

Fee: $175

Please note that Academy fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Registration is not complete until payment is received.

  • U9/U10 Boys & Girls: Mondays 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm (East Turf- North End)

Players MUST be registered in AYSC’s Fall soccer program to take part in Academy sessions.

Girls Skill Development Program (All Ages)

This Fall AYSC will be operating a Girls-specific skill development program on Friday evenings.

Fee: Free

  • Girls (All Ages): Fridays 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm (East Turf)

AYSC is looking for female mentors / coaches for this program – please contact equipment@aldergrovesoccer.com.

Players MUST be registered in AYSC’s Fall soccer program to take part in Girls Skill Development Program sessions.

Goalkeeper-Specific Training – U7 & Up

AYSC will also offer goalkeeper-specific training for players U7 and up who are interested in developing their keeper skills.

Fee: Free

  • U7 & Up: Tuesdays 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm (West Turf – South End)

Players MUST be registered in AYSC’s Fall soccer program to take part in Goalkeeper-Specific Training sessions.
