Ella Sutton
Growing up playing youth soccer at various different clubs, Ella understands how much of an impact youth sports can have on kids. Ella brings experience from years of playing and being coached, to being a coach herself helping young players develop and have fun while playing. She has played as a goalkeeper her whole career at the BCSPL level and at the university level for Trinity Western University.
Having grown up being largely coached by male coaches, Ella aspires to provide young girls interested in sports with a female mentor and coach. Ella recently graduated from university and is working as a Registered Nurse at Royal Columbian Hospital. Ella loves being active, connecting with people, and spending as much time as she can outdoors.
Carmen Mostat
Carmen Mostat has been coaching soccer for nine years with various age groups and skill levels. Her soccer career has included playing for the Trinity Western Spartans and a semi-pro career for the Xelaju Superchivas in Guatemala.
Carmen is currently a teacher in the Aldergrove community, and has a passion for helping youth to find their individual strengths within team sport, and empowering them to grow in confidence and skill.
Suraj Sidhu
Suraj Sidhu played for the Indian national youth team from U14 to U19, and travelled throughout Asia representing Indian soccer. Suraj played for Langara College during his post-secondary years, and is currently playing for Metro Ford in Vancouver Metro Soccer League’s Premier division.
Suraj is currently coaching boys and girls in the Whitecaps Academy and with Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer Club.
Joel Waterman – Club Coach
Joel Waterman is currently a professional soccer player with the Canadian Premier League (CPL). He has spent seven years coaching youth soccer, and graduated from Trinity Western University (TWU) in April 2019 with a Major in Media & Communications. In his 5th year at university he was captain of the TWU Men’s Soccer Team.

Joe Deacon – Club Coach
Joe Deacon has been coaching for over 20 years at the various levels in BC from the initiation / house level, through rep, metro and BCSPL, all the way up to and including the Men’s Premier level, including teams with Abbotsford Soccer Association, Surrey United Soccer Club, and Aldergrove United Soccer Club.
He has successfully coached various teams to league, district, provincial and national championships.
Joe has extensive playing experience as well. His resume includes playing for both BC Youth and BC Adult provincial winning teams, as well as years experience playing semi-professionally, and professionally in Italy, England and locally with the Vancouver 86ers (Whitecaps).
