As we start the season, below are a few reminders to keep everyone safe. Thank you for your cooperation!
Player Pick Up At Field
All players must be picked up by a parent / guardian AT THE FIELD – DO NOT ask your child to walk from the field to the parking lot after their session.
Coaches / team leaders do their best to ensure the safety of our players, and players walking to the parking lot alone (especially if it is dark or rainy) does not allow us to ensure that they have safely met up with their parent / guardian. Please ensure you come to the field five minutes before the end of a session to collect your child.
Please also note that young players are not always looking for cars, so drivers please be extra careful coming and going from the parking lots.
Park Safety & Parking
- the area in front of the chain at Betty Gilbert Middle School is not a parking spot and must be kept clear for emergency vehicle access (see photo)
- please follow all posted speed limits within Township of Langley Parks
- no bollards (metal posts) are to be removed for parking or loading unless approved by TOL Parks
- there is no smoking in all ToL Parks
- no dogs are allowed on ToL sports fields – this ensures the safety and cleanliness of the fields, and helps maintain our playing surfaces’ quality
- no parking at the end of 28th Avenue (see map) near Aldergrove Athletic Park / Betty Gilbert Elementary – the ToL has advised that tickets will be issued to anyone who parks here
