Club Reminders for December 2025

Final Sessions for 2025 – December 15-20

Our U5/U6 to U9/U10 age groups run until December 20, 2025 – consult the schedule.

The U5/U6 season ends at Christmas break, but AYSC may offer training opportunities for this group in January / February if there is interest – watch your email for details. At their last session December 20, 2025 all U5/U6 players will receive a slice of pizza and a juice box (pizza will be provided for U7/U8 and up players at the end of their season in February). U5/U6 Team Leaders will be provided with their team’s individual trophies at the start of the last session for hand-out.

U11 and up / BCCSL teams will play their last game before the holiday break on the December 13/14 weekend.

AYSC U7/U8 and up activities will resume after school starts in the New Year, starting on January 6, 2026.

Food Bank / Toy Drive

AYSC will be collecting food and toys through December 20, 2025 to support our local food bank. Non-perishable food items and unwrapped new or gently used toys can be dropped off at the field during your practice or game and placed in the boxes provided.

Lost & Found

AYSC’s lost and found collection has grown significantly and we would appreciate families having a look to see if there is a coat, jacket, or hoodie they are missing that can go home for the holidays. Please check for any lost items before the Winter break. All items not claimed by December 20, 2025 will be donated to charity.

Parking Lot Safety

It is darker in the evenings at Aldergrove Athletic Park / Betty Gilbert Elementary and we have lots of young players who are not always looking for cars, so drivers please be extra careful coming and going from the parking lots.

Please also note that the area in front of the chain at Betty Gilbert is not a parking spot and must be kept clear for emergency vehicle access. Anyone parking here may be towed.

A reminder that all players must be picked up by a parent / guardian AT THE FIELD – DO NOT ask your child to walk from the field to the parking lot after their session.
