AYSC’s Executive is working hard behind the scenes to organize for the Fall 2025/2026 soccer season.
WE STILL NEED MANY VOLUNTEERS AT ALL AGE LEVELS. WE CANNOT BEGIN TO CREATE TEAMS AND SCHEDULES UNTIL ENOUGH PARENT / GUARDIAN VOLUNTEERS HAVE STEPPED FORWARD TO BE TEAM LEADERS / COACHES.
VOLUNTEERS HELP TO KEEP OUR FEES AMONG THE LOWEST IN THE FRASER VALLEY. Without enough volunteers, our only alternative is to hire paid coaches for all teams and DOUBLE our fees.
Many feel they do not have enough experience or skill to coach, but the truth is that at the younger ages, the primary responsibility is to help players develop very basic skills (dribbling, shooting, passing etc.) and ensure they have FUN!
AYSC typically has at least two Team Leaders / Coaches per team, to share the duties. The Club provides support for all volunteer Team Leaders / Coaches to help them understand the game and provide an engaging experience for players.
Volunteers are required to sign up each season. If you have a player registered with AYSC for this Fall, please consider volunteering to be a Team Leader / Coach ASAP.
