Applications Open for FIFA26 Volunteer Opportunities

The FIFA World Cup 26™ Volunteer Program application launched Monday August 11 – a major milestone on the road to 2026!

Volunteers will be at the heart of the tournament, bringing the energy and passion that will shape the fan experience and leave a lasting legacy in our communities. This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity for volunteers to contribute to the biggest FIFA World Cup of all-time.

The FIFA World Cup 26™ Volunteer Program unites passionate individuals from all backgrounds to help welcome the world to Canada and its Host Cities, Vancouver and Toronto.

“The BC Soccer volunteer community will shine on the global stage! I encourage everyone to take part in this once-in-a-generation opportunity to volunteer, connect, and welcome soccer fans from around the world. Together, let’s show the world the heart and spirit of British Columbia!” says Gabriel Assis, BC Soccer Chief Executive Officer.

In Vancouver, volunteer roles will include support at BC Place, along key stadium routes or in the heart of the action at the FIFA Fan Festival™. As a local ambassador you will help fans feel at home, share Vancouver’s rich diversity and culture, and create unforgettable experiences.

As a tournament volunteer stationed along key stadium routes you may be greeting fans, providing accessibility guidance, sharing your tournament knowledge, helping with language support or managing accreditations.
