The Aldergrove Youth Soccer Club will be up for a regular review soon for its license with BC and Canada Soccer. Part of this review is to ensure our coaches have appropriate coach certification.
With this in mind the club has booked a series of coaching courses to be held on our turf fields:
- U5/6 Wednesday December 4, 2024 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm (Active Start)
- U7/8 Monday December 2, 2024 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm (FUNdamentals)
- U9/10 Wednesday December 11, 2024 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm (Learn to Train)
- Traveling Teams Thursday December 5, 2024 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm (Soccer for Life)
We have picked evenings where you would normally be coaching so we are not asking for you to provide an extra night, but the time on the field will be a little bit longer than your normal coaching session.
(Travelling Team Coaches – as you coach across multiple nights, we chose an evening where we had the most field space available.)
The Club will pay for the Online Training as well as the On Field Training once the Course Level has been completed and you have received your electronic Certificate. Please keep your e-receipts and submit these with your certificate for reimbursement processing to info@aldergrovesoccer.com.
Creating a BC Soccer Account
If you do not already have an account with BC Soccer’s Coach Centre, please look under Grassroots at the link below to establish an account:

For Coaches who are new to this system, you will be required to take the “Coaching Soccer in Canada” Module first before it will allow you to start any other module whether it is “Soccer for Life”, “Active Start” etc.
Once you have created your BC Soccer account please use the link below to purchase the relevant course. We strongly encourage you to take the online portion of any Online Training ASAP, as it tends to take a week to two weeks to show up in the system to allow you to register for the On Field Training.
