AYSC is monitoring the current poor air quality. The health and safety of players is of primary importance to the Club, and BC Soccer mandates that all soccer activities should be postponed when the Air Quality Index is 7 or higher. As at 5:00 pm on Wednesday June 7, 2023 the AQI is rated at 5 (Moderate Risk) and all activities planned for tonight will proceed.
Individuals with health concerns should check the air quality on the Government of Canada Weather website before their training sessions or games this week. We understand if you feel your player should not participate.
AYSC will continue to monitor the situation and provide an update if any activities planned for this week are affected.
