AYSC’s Fall 2021 season starts in just a few weeks! However, we need volunteers to step forward to be U5-U10 team leaders before we can organize teams and schedules.
AYSC IS A VOLUNTEER-RUN ORGANIZATION. WE CANNOT BEGIN TO CREATE TEAMS AND SCHEDULES UNTIL ENOUGH PARENT / GUARDIAN VOLUNTEERS HAVE STEPPED FORWARD TO BE TEAM LEADERS / COACHES.
Many feel they do not have enough experience or skill to coach, but the truth is that at the younger ages the primary responsibility is to help players develop very basic skills (dribbling, shooting, passing etc.) and ensure they have FUN!
The alternative to having volunteers leading our teams is to move to a “paid coach” model. This would mean raising AYSC’s fees by almost double.
