Given new Public Health Office orders released over the weekend, AYSC would like to remind all members that we continue to follow all necessary health and safety protocols as mandated by the Township of Langley, Public Health, and our provincial and national governing bodies. Along with other local clubs, we are pausing competitive play for a two week period to try and help bring BC’s COVID-19 numbers down.
Competitive Play Paused Until After November 23
U5-U10
- Please note that there will be no Saturday games between teams until after November 23 – training and scrimmages can only occur within teams
U11 & U12
- Please note that there will be no league play (U11 or U12 interclub games) until after November 23 – training and scrimmages can only occur within teams
Wednesday November 11 Sessions
Training session on Wednesday, November 11 (Remembrance Day) are optional – Team Leaders / Coaches, please confirm with your players if you intend on running training Wednesday.

Thank you to all who have been following AYSC’s COVID-19 protocols, which are not only important for everyone’s health and safety, but are conditions upon which AYSC is being allowed to run programs on Township of Langley facilities. AYSC protocols are included below as a reminder.
Player Check-In / COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire – Complete Each Training Day / Game
AYSC’s Player Check-In / COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire must be completed before each training session / game before players come to the field.
WE WILL NOT BE SENDING EMAIL REMINDERS BEFORE EACH TRAINING SESSION / GAME. PLEASE ENSURE YOU COMPLETE THE PLAYER CHECK-IN BEFORE YOU COME TO THE FIELD BEFORE ANY TRAINING DAY / GAME.

PLEASE NOTE: FOR U5/U6 PLAYERS, ONLY ONE ADULT PER PLAYER-FAMILY SHOULD COME TO THE FIELD.
FOR U7/U8 AND U9/U10 PLAYERS, AND U11-U12 TRAVELING TEAMS, PARENTS / GUARDIANS SHOULD DROP OFF YOUR PLAYER FROM THE PARKING LOT, AND EITHER WAIT IN YOUR CAR, RETURN TO THE PARK AT THE END OF THE SESSION, OR PERHAPS TAKE A WALK AROUND THE PARK. IF NECESSARY, PARENTS / GUARDIANS CAN WALK THEIR PLAYER FROM THE PARKING LOT TO THE FIELD, BUT MUST NOT REMAIN AT THE FIELD TO WATCH DURING TRAINING SESSIONS / GAMES.
Hands must be sanitized on the way in and the way out – Team Leaders / Coaches will have spray bottles to facilitate this.
We encourage anyone coming to the park to wear a mask and to practice social distancing and good hand hygiene.
