The Developmental (U5/6 – U9/10 Boys and Girls) soccer Fall season kicks off Saturday September 15, 2018 (no soccer on the previous Saturday due to the Langley Cruise-In event taking place in Aldergrove).
Location: Aldergrove Athletic Park, 27 Ave. and 268 St. (view Google map), behind Betty Gilbert Middle School
Wear your shin pads, runners or cleats and bring a water bottle. Shin pads are mandatory for all practices and games.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the age times listed below to check in.
Saturdays (September 15, 22, 29)
- U5/6 (2013 & 2014): 9:00 am – 10:00 am
- U7/8 (2011 & 2012): 10:00 am – 11:00 am
- U9/10 (2009 & 2010): 11:00 am – 12:00 noon
Wednesdays (September 19, 26)
- U5/6 (2013 & 2014): 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm
- U7/8 (2011 & 2012): 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm
- U9/10 (2009 & 2010): 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
New for 2018 – White Jerseys / Fluid Teams
This season, players will not be assigned a team until the end of September. The first few weeks of September provides the Club an opportunity to organize for the year and set balanced teams and schedules. From September 15 – September 29, AYSC’s club coaches will be running “skills and drills” with all players and volunteer team leaders on Saturdays, and Wednesday evenings.
Players will be assigned a team in late September, and a game schedule will be released at that time. All players will be provided with white jerseys, and games will be played with one side wearing pinnies. Some temporary player shuffling may occur in-game to ensure fair play, per BC Soccer guidelines.
