Harry Hunt has taken pictures of AYSC players for the Aldergrove Star for may years. He has been an integral part of the Aldergrove community for as long as we can remember. His spirit and dedication are admirable and have made a huge impact on this community.
Unfortunately, he and his family have been experiencing some hard times recently. Harry’s wife Betty sadly passed away on January 4, 2014. Harry’s own health has not been great.
A “Harry Hunt Appreciation Night” will take place on January 15 at the Kodiaks hockey game at the Aldergrove Arena to raise some money for the family and help show them how much the community appreciates all that he has done.
You can help by:
- making a donation of a prize or silent auction item for the Appreciation Night (contact Michelle Kristensen at mrolli28@hotmail.com)
- making a monetary donation at the Aldergrove Credit Union to account 676410
- volunteering your services for the Appreciation Night (contact Debbie Jones at ldrbjones13@gmail.com)
- sharing a “Harry” story or photo that can be collated into a booklet for him (contact Brian Hunter at bhunter@sd35.bc.ca)
