Aldergrove Youth Soccer Club is again operating a co-ed Spring soccer program this year. This program has an emphasis on fun and fitness, with a chance to play with old friends as well as make new ones. Spring soccer is aimed at players wanting to continue after the traditional season ends in mid March. This is also an excellent opportunity to introduce new players to the game, and allow those kids that play hockey or have other activities in the Fall to participate in community soccer.
The teams will be 5 to 7 a side depending on the age groups. The rules are modified to eliminate off sides, and with substitutions permitted on the fly, this should prove to be a fast paced and fun-filled game.
Spring play will start April 11 and run to June 20, 2011. All games will be played in the Aldergrove area, one or two evenings a week. There will be no practices.
The cost for AYSC’s Spring soccer program is reduced for players that played in Aldergrove in the Fall – only $60. Current AYSC players will receive a registration form for Spring soccer with your 2010-2011 tax receipt.
