Team Kit Handout – Volunteers Needed
Kit (a jersey, shorts, and socks) will be handed out Saturday toward the end of each age group session. Players will be given the sizes indicated when registering. If you need a different sized jersey or shorts for your player, please DO NOT try to exchange it this Saturday. Exchanges will be done Saturday October 4, 2025.
WE NEED 2-4 VOLUNTEERS AT EACH AGE GROUP FOR 20 MINUTES AT THE START OF SESSIONS TO HELP ORGANIZE KIT INTO TEAM PACKAGES. If you are willing to help please email equipment@aldergrovesoccer.com and come to the large blue bin at the start of your age group time.
Uniforms / Clothing
Coaches / Team Leaders will be provided with their team’s jersey, shorts, and socks toward the END of the age group session this Saturday for handout to players.
Shin guards are mandatory for all age groups to prevent injury.
When it’s cold out players can wear a jacket or sweatpants under their jersey. A toque is also an excellent idea – no hats with brims (i.e. no baseball caps).
A player must not use equipment or wear anything which might be dangerous. Rings, necklaces, watches, bracelets, earrings and barrettes MUST be removed.
Boot Exchange
Players need cleats or runners (not provided). AYSC operates a free soccer boot exchange at Aldergrove Athletic Park (Rubbermaid bins in the large container). If you need boots, check to see if there are a pair that will fit your player. If you have used boots to exchange or donate, please put them in a Rubbermaid bin on any session day.
AYSC Soccer – Rain or Shine
AYSC activities take place rain or shine. AYSC will only cancel activities if the Township of Langley closes the fields (or sets the field status to ‘discretionary’, where the Club will cancel games if we determine the condition of the fields is unplayable). There are no games in the event of snow on the field. Township field status can be viewed at https://facilities.tol.ca/. The Club will communicate any closures as quickly as possible via email.
