AYSC Fall 2020 Season Details / Payment

Please read all information below carefully. Note that payment for final Fall 2020 fees are due by Wednesday October 7, 8:00 pm (details below).

Thank you for your patience as we moved through these first few weeks of soccer and the new protocols we are all having to follow.

AYSC’s general plan for the Fall 2020 season can be found below. We are awaiting approval from the Township of Langley to move into the next phase of soccer, “Return to Play” (limited contact games between teams). Once we have been given the go-ahead we will release a schedule of games.

Note that there may be some player movement between teams when Club coaches and Team Leaders can assess teams’ competitiveness once games start.

Fall 2020 Season Details

Please note: while we hope that we will not have to adjust the days, dates, and times outlined below, the Fall 2020 program may be subject to change based on health authority, Township of Langley, and governing body (viaSport, BC Soccer, Canada Soccer) guidelines and directives.

There is no soccer Thanksgiving weekend, October 10/11. The season will break on December 19 for the holidays. The year-end wind-up will occur on February 27. Schedules for January / February will be released once the Township provides us with field times.

Please consult the field map (PDF) for field assignments. Please take note of the new entrances and exits / grass dispersal areas.

U5/U6

  • Wednesdays 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm through October 28
  • Saturdays 8:30 am – 9:30 am through December 19

Unfortunately, because we do not have access to school gyms this year due to COVID-19, U5/U6s will not play during the normally cold and rainy months of January and February. AYSC may look at offering clinics (training) for U5/U6s during these months if there is enough interest – watch for more information later this Fall.

U7/U8

Huberts / De la Fuente / Coris & Lehman

  • Tuesdays 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm through December 15
  • Saturdays 9:45 am – 10:45 am through December 19

Van Noort / Bardeck / Van Vliet & Halliday / Beston

  • Wednesdays 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm through December 16
  • Saturdays 9:45 am – 10:45 am through December 19

U9/U10

(Watalla / Walters & de la Fuente)

  • Thursdays 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm through December 17
  • Saturdays 11:00 am – 12:00 pm through December 19

(Scott / Willdeboer & MacKenzie / Scheper)

  • Thursdays 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm through December 17
  • Saturdays 11:00 am – 12:00 pm through December 19

U11 (Farnesse / Noga)

  • Mondays 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm through December 14
  • Wednesdays 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm through December 16
  • Saturdays 10:00 am – 11:30 am through December 19 (or per league away game schedule)

U12 (Scott)

  • Mondays 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm through December 14
  • Wednesdays 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm through December 16
  • Saturdays 10:00 am – 11:30 am through December 19 (or per league away game schedule)

U12 (Bell)

  • Mondays 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm through December 14
  • Wednesdays 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm through December 16
  • Saturdays 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm through December 19 (or per league away game schedule)

Player Check-In / COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire – Complete Each Training Day

AYSC’s Player Check-In / COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire must be completed before each training session before players come to the field.

WE WILL NOT BE SENDING EMAIL REMINDERS BEFORE EACH TRAINING SESSION. PLEASE ENSURE YOU COMPLETE THE PLAYER CHECK-IN BEFORE YOU COME TO THE FIELD BEFORE ANY TRAINING DAY.

Player Check-In / COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire

PLEASE NOTE: FOR U5/U6 PLAYERS, ONLY ONE ADULT PER PLAYER-FAMILY SHOULD COME TO THE FIELD.

FOR U7/U8 AND U9/U10 PLAYERS, AND U11-U12 TRAVELING TEAMS, PARENTS / GUARDIANS SHOULD DROP OFF YOUR PLAYER FROM THE PARKING LOT, AND EITHER WAIT IN YOUR CAR, RETURN TO THE PARK AT THE END OF THE SESSION, OR PERHAPS TAKE A WALK AROUND THE PARK. IF NECESSARY, PARENTS / GUARDIANS CAN WALK THEIR PLAYER FROM THE PARKING LOT OT THE FIELD, BUT MUST NOT REMAIN AT THE FIELD TO WATCH DURING TRAINING SESSIONS.

Hands must be sanitized on the way in and the way out – Team Leaders / Coaches will have spray bottles to facilitate this.

We encourage anyone coming to the park to wear a mask and to practice social distancing and good hand hygiene.

Fall 2020 Fees – Payment Due by October 7

Full Fall 2020 fees are outlined below (less the $50 deposit already paid).

  • U5 – born 2016: $125
  • U6 – born 2015: $125
  • U7 – born 2014: $250
  • U8 – born 2013: $250
  • U9 – born 2012: $250
  • U10 – born 2011: $250
  • U11 – born 2010: $325
  • U12 – born 2009: $325

FULL PAYMENT IS DUE BY WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 7 8:00 PM.

Your registration MAY BE VOIDED if payment is not received by this date.
