On our last day of soccer, February 22, we will be hosting a BC Soccer-sponsored Grassroots Festival. Teams should arrive at the turf field for their previously scheduled game time, and will move through a series of fun stations and drills. This fun-filled event has been designed by FIFA to cultivate the game by providing opportunities for youngsters to play and learn new techniques and skills in workshops.
Coaches Meeting Friday February 21
In preparation for the Grassroots Festival, we are asking all U7/U8 & U9/U10 coaches (or a team parent if the coach is not available) to attend a meeting from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM to explain the BC Soccer Grassroots Festival scheduled for the next day. BC Soccer would like 2 parents from each team to attend this meeting if possible. The meeting will take place at the Rotary Fieldhouse at Aldergrove Athletic Park (to the southwest of the turf fields).
