REGISTRATION IS NOT CONSIDERED COMPLETE UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED. Before the start of the season in September the Club must submit payment to the League to obtain insurance coverage for every player, and player equipment must be purchased. The earlier we receive completed registration information and payment the earlier we can organize teams and field times.

Registrations MUST be in by June 15 to allow for team placement.

We attempt to place all players, however, wait lists may apply for players registered after June 15.

Season Length

U5/U6

U5/U6 teams have a split practice / game outdoors every Saturday morning from September to mid-December, and a split practice / game Wednesday evenings in September and October. In November all U5/U6 teams move indoors to a gym for split practice / games on a weeknight evening (no outdoor Saturday games for U5/U6s during the normally cold and rainy months of January and February).

U7-U10

U7-U10 games are played outdoors every Saturday morning from September to February, with a break mid-December to the 1st week in January. U7-U10 teams have a split practice / game Wednesday evenings in September and October. In November U7/U8 teams will be assigned a weekday practice day / time in a gym. U9/10 teams will practice on the turf on a weekday night starting in November.

U11-U18 Boys & Girls

U11-U18 Boys & Girls (Traveling Team) games are played Saturday or Sunday depending on age group, from September to February. Practice days / times are determined by coaches.

New AYSC Players – Birth Certificate Required

Players who are new to AYSC must submit a copy of their birth certificate with their registration. Your birth certificate can be mailed to the AYSC at:

$25 Turf Field Fee

The AYSC Executive worked very hard to secure the two turf fields at Aldergrove Athletic Park, which opened in the 2012/2013 season. Having these turf fields means that our players can practice and play on a great surface, rain or shine. A $25 turf field fee is applicable to every player and payable when registering for the Fall season. This fee covers field rental costs as well as payments to the Township of Langley for the second (smaller) turf field, the capital costs of which were NOT covered by the Township. The turf field fee will also be used for the cost of the eventual replacement of the turf, which has an average lifespan of about 10 years.

Fees Increase $25 / $50 After June 15

Registration fees increase $25 (U7-U10) or $50 (U11-U18) for players registering after June 15.

Register Online

Register online and pay by credit card. Online registration services are provided by Sports Logic Group on a secure server. All information is held in the strictest confidence.

IF YOU REGISTERED ONLINE WITH AYSC PREVIOUSLY, your username and password is the same as last year. If you forgot your password, you can use the Forgot your password? link on the registration website. IF YOU HAVE NEVER REGISTERED ONLINE, you will be asked to create an account before registering.

Your registration fees may be eligible for the Government of Canada’s Children’s Fitness Tax Credit.

Registration fees include a $25 turf field fee.

Registration fees will be refunded up to the DAY BEFORE the first game of the season, less a $50 processing charge. See Refund Policy below for complete details.

Where Do My Registration Fees Go?

Your fees pay for:

  • BC Soccer fees
  • insurance
  • Township of Langley field charges for all-weather and grass fields
  • referees (U8-U18) and linespersons
  • an individual and a team photo (included with registration)
  • uniforms (jersey, shorts and socks)
  • equipment (balls, cones, and nets)
  • field maintenance (lining)
  • player clinics
  • general Club operating costs (accounting, advertising, printing etc.)

Refund Policy

Registration fees will be refunded up to the DAY BEFORE the first game of the season, less a $50 processing charge. Once the first game of the season is played the League has committed funds for insurance, equipment and clinics and it is not reasonable for these costs to be absorbed by other members of the Club. All refund requests must be made in writing to the Club Registrar and must include a photocopy of the original registration receipt or online invoice.
