UPDATE 18-Feb-2012 8:15 am: The fields at Brown Park are for the most part are playable and games should be played as scheduled.

U8 Teams: The U8 South West field (field X) has a portion underwater. U8 teams should either play ACROSS the dry part of the field (mini game using smaller numbers, use cones for sidelines) or play on the gravel field.

Developmental Teams: The fields at Brown Park are open and all Developmental games should be played as scheduled.

Traveling Teams: All Township of Langley fields are listed as Discretionary.

AYSC Developmental Season Windup Details

The AYSC season wind-up will take place on Saturday, March 3 (please note that there are no scheduled games on this day). The wind-up will take place at the Aldergrove Boston Pizza (900-26310 Fraser Hwy). All players will receive a slice of pizza, a drink, and a cookie. Coaches will be provided with their team’s trophies for hand-out.

Times for each age group will be staggered as follows:

U6 Mixed: 10:00 am
U7 Mixed: 10:45 am
U8 Mixed: 11:30 am
U9/10 Boys: 12:15 pm
U9/10 Girls: 1:00 pm

We require at least 2 parents from each age group to volunteer to help organize / hand out food (must arrive 15 minutes before your group’s time); please email ayscdevelopmental@gmail.com if you can assist.

Note: The Club Registrar will be at the wind-up with receipts and Spring registration information / forms. See Spring Soccer Program for more information.

Update 20-Jan-2012 5:15 pm: All Township of Langley fields are closed this weekend.

Developmental Teams: The fields at Brown Park are CLOSED due to snow. All Developmental games for Saturday January 21 are CANCELLED.

Traveling Teams: All Aldergrove / Langley grass fields will be CLOSED this weekend. It is very likely that Township of Langley synthetic turf fields will not open until Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.
