We attempt to place all players, however, wait lists may apply for players registered after May 31, 2012 (registration closes August 1, 2012).

How to Register

For Fall 2012 soccer registration, AYSC has gone paperless!

REGISTRATION IS NOT CONSIDERED COMPLETE UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED. Before the start of the season in September the Club must submit payment to the League to obtain insurance coverage for every player, and player equipment must be purchased. The earlier we receive completed registration information and payment the earlier we can organize teams and field times. Cheques postdated to August 1, 2012 will be accepted but registrations MUST be in by May 31, 2012 to allow for team placement.

Players can register online and pay by credit card (you can also register online and pay via cheque – details are provided during the online registration process).

Online registration services are provided by Sports Logic Group. All information is held in the strictest confidence.

New AYSC Players – Birth Certificate Required

Players who are new to AYSC must submit a copy of their birth certificate with their registration. Your birth certificate can be mailed to the AYSC at:

Registration Fees

Your registration fees may be eligible for the Government of Canada’s Children’s Fitness Tax Credit.

Where Do My Registration Fees Go?

Your fees pay for:

• BC Soccer fees
• insurance
• Township of Langley field charges for all-weather and grass fields
• referees (U8-U10) and linespersons
• an individual and a team photo (included with registration)
• uniforms (jersey, shorts and socks)
• equipment (balls, cones, and nets)
• field maintenance (lining)
• player clinics
• general Club operating costs (accounting, advertising, printing etc.)

Season Length

Developmental Soccer (U5-U10)

For U5 through U10, the season is typically as follows:

• Start: 2nd or 3rd week of September
• Christmas Break: 2nd week of December through 2nd week of January (approximate)
• End: Last week of February or first week of March

Coaches may elect to attend tournaments during Thanksgiving or Christmas break but this is up to the individual coach; tournament fees are not included in the registration fee. The Developmental wind-up is usually the first weekend in March.

Traveling Teams (U11-U18)

For U11 and up, the regular season is similar to the Developmental season but a team may elect to attend tournaments in August, and Cup play may extend into May in some cases. Your team’s coach will make these decisions.

Refund Policy

Registration fees will be refunded up to the day before the first game of the season, less a $20 processing charge. Once a player has played a game the League has committed funds for insurance, equipment and clinics and it is not reasonable for these costs to be absorbed by other members of the Club. All refund requests must be made in writing to the Club Registrar and must include a photocopy of the original registration receipt or online invoice.
