Welcome to Brown Road Soccer 2009/2010 Season

Brown Road Team Selection will be as follows:

9:00am – U6 Boys/Girls

10:00am – U7 Boys/Girls

11:00am – U8 Boys/Girls

12:00noon – U9/U10 Boys only

U9 and U10 girls do not have to be at Brown Road on Sept 12 as there is only 1 team in each age group.

We have upgraded our goals – they now all have nets! And are portable!

A benefit from the portable nets is that the Brown Park field will be more useable in the rainy weather as now we have the ability to move the goals around to better parts of the field.

Team responsibilities will include set up and take down

Each 9am game will be responsible for setting up the nets for their game.

Each 11:30 game will be responsible for taking the nets down and putting it away in the locker.

A demonstration will take place on September 12th during our season opening team setup and organization.

Game Schedules, Uniforms and Equipment will all be available September 12th at Brown Park.

Gym Schedule – will be available after Thanksgiving.  Coaches can request specific gyms after September 15th.

Photo Day will be Sunday, October 18th – Scheduling information to follow.

We currently require coaches for the following age groups.

            Based on 6 Teams 8 players per team;

U6 Boys/Girls – 6 coaches (we have 4 people signed up as Asst Coach, maybe they could double up and then we would only be short 4 coaches)

U7 Boys/Girls – 7 coaches (we have 3 people signed up as Asst Coach, maybe they could double up and then we would only be short 6 coaches)

U8 Boys/Girls

Based on 6 Teams we require 2 more coaches

Based on 4 Teams there are enough coaches

U9/10 Boys – There are enough coaches for this age group

U9 Girls have a coach - 4 players short for a full roster.

U10 Girls have a coach – 2 players short for a full roster.

Aldergrove Youth Soccer is a Volunteer Organization!

Our aim is to get our volunteer coaches organized so on September 12th none of our kids will be disappointed that they can’t play because there is no coach for their team.

If you haven’t coached before but are considering it we have information and guidance available on getting started.  These are volunteer positions that help keep our club strong and are very rewarding.

If you are able to fill any of the above positions please contact the Registrar as soon as possible. registration at aldergrovesoccer.com

Your Volunteer Support is Greatly Appreciated!!
